Ingredients

  1. 100 g chocolate flavoured biscuit(I have used happy happy)
  2. 4-5 plain biscuit(I have used Marie light)
  3. 1 tsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp coffee powder/ coco powder(optional)
  5. 60 ml milk
  6. 1 tsp baking soda
  7. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  8. 1 tsp butter/oil

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixer add crushed biscuits,coffee powder,sugar and make it fine powder.

    Now add milk and grind it for 1 mintue.

    Add baking powder,soda and mix everything well.

    Take a cake tin/vessel that's base is equal in shape and grease it with oil/butter.

    Pour the batter into vessel and tap twice.

    Take a pressure cooker add 2 glasses of water and pre heat it for 10 mintues.

    Place the cake vessel/tin.(Put a stand under it so that it doesn't fall off in the water).

    Cover it with plate/aluminium foil and steam it for 30-35 minutes in medium flame.

    Check the cake if it's cooked well by using a stick/spoon. Let it become cool

    Transfer the cake upside down to a plate

    Now add chocolate syrup (I have used Hershey's) and spread well into the cake.

    Keep it in fridge for 5-10 mintues. Your easy chocolate biscuit cake is ready to eat!!!

    Pro tip: if you don't have chocolate syrup add in melted dairy milk or any other chocolate. If u are doing it in oven take the tin and place it in a bowl which has water and steam it for 30mintues at 180°

    Note: covering the cake is must if u are steaming the cake:) or else it will become soggy.
