Hotteok filled with vegetables and noodles_ Korean pancake

Hotteok is a Korean dish known as pancake. These hotteok I choose filled with vegetables and noodles. In actual recipe they use any starchy ( transparent noodles) and sugar with it. But I use instant noodles and add some spicy taste with red chilli flakes and hot sauce. Because starchy noodles and sweet flavor my family does not like. Initially when I was making it I was very unhappy with the messy dough but when I tried it it was very yummy, super crispy and crunchy with yeasty flavor from out side and gouge from inside
Ingredients

Dough

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp yeast

1 Pinch salt

1 tbsp sugar
-
2 tbsp oil
-
Lukewarm Water to Knead the dough

Filling
-
1 chopped onion
-
1 grated carrot
-
1 chopped capsicum
-
1 packet instant noodles
-
2 tbsp soya sauce
-
2 tbsp hot sauce
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
-
2 squares cheese (optional)
-
Oil for frying
Cooking Instructions

First of all collect all ingredients for dough

Take a large bowl and add all ingredients and make a very soft dough with the help of Lukewarm water.

Rest the dough for 1 hr to rise

Know Knead the dough by pulling with finger for 5 minutes to make dough stretchy and slimy

In the mean while collect ingredients for filling

Boil noodles and remove extra water and keep a side

Sautay vegetables in oil

Add boiled noodles in sautayed vegetables

Add soya sauce
-

Add hot chilli sauce

Add salt

Add red chilli flakes

Add seasoning for instant noodles

Mix everything very well

Add cheese squares or any other cheese if you want and mix it. Let that mixture cool down.

Now apply oil over your palms and take a small part of dough. And spread over your palm with the help of oil because dough is very sticky

Now add 2 tbsp of filling mixture over the dough

Cover mixture with dough. Make sure to make a very thin layer of dough if you want super crisp coating than add this ball in preheated oil to fry

When it cooks a little bit from bottom than flip to other side and press with spoon to give flatten shape.

Fry from both sides on medium to low flame till golden brown.

Take out from oil when golden brown from both sides and serve hot to your family and friends. I m sure this fried yeast flavor of crispy hoettok every one will enjoy and they demand once again
