Pudina Chutney (Mint dips)

Pudina chutney is a chutney with a tangy taste. It aids digestion and is a tasty accompaniment for dosa. It can be used as a spread for sandwich as well.

Ingredients

4-serving
  1. bunch pudina of A leaves ( mint leaves)
  2. 1 Teaspoon Urad Dal
  3. 2 Green chillies
  4. 2 chillies Red
  5. to taste Salt
  6. to taste Tamarind
  7. a few Coriander leaves -
  8. 1/2 Teaspoon Oil
  9. 1/2 Cup coconut Grated ( optional)

Method

  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Heat the pudina leaves and coriander leaves in a kadai for a minute or two.

    Heat oil in a kadai in order to roast urad dal, green chillies and red chillies.

    Grind the leaves,roasted dal and chillies alongwith tamarind and salt to a fine paste in a mixture grinder. Add a little water while grinding. You can add coconut also while grinding(optional)

    Pudina chutney is ready to be served.
