Ingredients

  1. 3 Onion (sliced round pieces)
  2. 1 Cup Gram Flour
  3. 2 Green chillies
  4. 10 Curry Leaves
  5. 1 Egg
  6. Salt
  7. Coconut Oil
  8. 1 Ginger piece [optional]

Method

    Chop onions, green chillis, curry leaves and ginger to very thin slices.

    Make a consistent batter out of gram flour, egg, and a little water. Add the above chopped ingredients and salt to the batter.

    Preheat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot enough, pour 1 tbsp of batter (for each vada) to the oil, and deep fry.

    Drain the excess oil in the vadas by using a ladle with holes.
