Ingredients

  1. 1/2 Kilogram squid
  2. 1 Cup Shallots
  3. 4 greenchillies slit
  4. 1 Tablespoon ginger
  5. 1 Tablespoon garlic
  6. 1 tomato
  7. 1 1/4 Teaspoons chilly powder
  8. 1/4 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 Teaspoon pepper powder
  10. 1/4 Teaspoon garam masala
  11. coriander leaves
  12. To Taste salt
  13. Curryleaves
  14. mustard
  15. coconut oil

Method

    Add Photo

    Clean the squid and slice.Marinate the squid with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp chilly powder and salt and then pressure cook till 2 whistle with 2 tablespoon of water.

    Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the squid. Set this aside and in the same pan,add mustard and curry leaves,once it start to crackle add shallots,ginger,garlic,green chili and saute till the onion become golden brown.

    Now add red chilly powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder,garam masala,salt and stir well until the raw smell of the masala goes.Now add tomato pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Add the fried squid, mix well and roast it for 10 minutes on medium flame. Off the stove and drizzle little coconut oil and add some coriander leaves.
