Beetroot Halva

Tasty and Easy Beetroot recipe. The time you probably spend on it will be grating the beetroot beforehand
Adjust the cooking time according to how soft you want the beetroot to be. For me softer, the better.

Ingredients

4-serving
  1. 3 Beetroot grated finely
  2. 200 Grams Condensed Milk
  3. 1 Cup White Sugar
  4. 1/2 Cup Milk
  5. 2 Teaspoons Cardomom Powder
  6. 2 Tablespoons Ghee

Method

40 mins
  1. Add Photo

    In a deep pan, add the ghee and heat

  2. Add Photo

    Add the Beetroot grated finely to the ghee and mix well. Keep for 5 minutes

  3. Add Photo

    Pour the milk into the mix and stir. Keep on simmer until the beetroot becomes soft meaning its cooked. Might take 10 - 15 minutes.

  4. Add Photo

    Add the sugar into the mix and stir.

  5. Add Photo

    Add the condensed milk to the beetroot mix and stir. Again let simmer for 15 minutes to cook well.

  6. Add Photo

    Add the cardamom powder and stir. take off stove

  7. Add Photo
