Fish molly is one of my favorite dish.It is not too spicy.But its a very tasty dish goes well with bread appam and rice.Credits: Maria's Menu

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 Kilogram Fish (King )
  2. 2 Onions
  3. 1/4 Cup pearl onion
  4. 2 Tablespoons ginger garlic paste
  5. 3 green chillies
  6. 4 Cardamom
  7. 4 Cloves
  8. 1 Cinnamon
  9. 3 Tomatoes
  10. 1 Cup coconut milk Thin (3rd)
  11. 1 Cup coconut milk Medium (2nd)
  12. 1/2 Cup coconut milk Thick (1st)
  13. 1 Teaspoon pepper powder
  14. 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  15. 1/2 Teaspoon lime juice
  16. To Taste Salt
  17. Sprig curry Leaves
  18. Oil

Method

  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Marinate the fish with salt, pepper,lime juice and turmeric.Keep it for 30 minutes.Fry the fish and keep it aside.

    Heat oil in a pan and splutter cinnamon,cardamon and cloves.Add ginger garlic paste and green chilies.Add big onions and small onions.Once the onions become soft add thin coconut milk and let it boil.Now add tomatoes and curry leaves and salt.

    Once the tomatoes are done add medium coconut milk and fish.Let it boil.If the gravy is not thick dilute 1 tbsp of cornflour and add.Finally add thick coconut milk and just heat it.
