This was one of my favourite desserts growing up (specially during the Navratri time) . I have seen my mom make it for years now but this was my first attempt at the same :)

  1. 1 Litre cream milk Rich
  2. 200 Grams Sugar Powdered
  3. 1 Teaspoon Curd
  4. 50 Grams Almonds
  5. 5 pods Cardamom - 6

  1. Add Photo

    Prepare curd overnight using the milk and the teaspoon of curd. The better the milk, the better the final outcome.

    Tie the curd in a clean muslin cloth and hang it till most water is drained off (about 3 hours)

  3. Add Photo

    Tie a muslin cloth over a large bowl and make it act like a sieve. Put the hung curd and sugar over the cloth in small quantities. Rub the mixture firmly over the cloth until the complete mixture is sieved.

    Add cut almonds and cardamom powder.

  5. Add Photo

    Serve cold.
