Sunflower eggs

A little twist to the usual fried eggs. A big difference in the experience.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Egg
  2. Capsicum Bell Pepper /
  3. Olive Oil
  4. Salt
  5. Pepper
  6. Basil

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Neatly create capsicum rings by cutting thin spirals. Ideally, you should get one long thin capsicum rope.

  2. Add Photo

    Heat olive oil in a pan.

  3. Add Photo

    Create a circular ring of the capsicum over the oil. (3cm radius). Cut the rest for the next one.

    Cover the pan to let the capsicum fry a bit.

  5. Add Photo

    Now break the egg in the center of the ring.

  6. Add Photo

    Cook the egg by covering it for a minute.

  7. Add Photo

    Sprinkle salt, pepper and basil flakes over the egg.

    If you like the eggs nicely fried, cook it for a little longer.

  9. Add Photo

    Take out the sunflower in a serving plate.

  10. Add Photo

    Relish it with tomato ketchup or just like that.
