You can find it at very small tea shops in kerala. Vettu cake with a cup of tea ahhh .. u can't ask for any thing better then this.
Sift together Flour, Turmeric,Baking Soda, Salt, Sugar and Cardamom Powder well. Beat the eggs and keep aside.
Now add the beaten eggs to the flour to make a smooth dough.If required add milk. Let it rest for 30 to 40 minutes.
Shape the dough into a thick log and then cut them into square's.Then make a deep "X" mark in the centre.
Heat oil in a deep kadai and fry the cakes in medium heat and transfer to a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
