Pennsylvania Dutch-style Chicken Pot Pie (Quick version)

This chicken pot pie is not a pie, but more of a stew with chicken, noodles, and vegetables. A staple for a large gathering in Berks County, Pennsylvania.Typically this is an all day venture, making noodles from scratch and using fresh vegetables. But use this recipe when you don't have time for that. (If you want to use fresh vegetables, just steam/cook them ahead of time)

Ingredients

  1. 48 Ounces Chicken Broth
  2. 2 Pounds Chicken Breasts , shredded
  3. 15 oz . cans Carrots , sliced 1
  4. 15 oz . cans Potatoes , peeled 1
  5. 3 Celery stalks
  6. 24 Ounces Pasta Bowtie
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper

Method

    If using fresh vegetables, cook and steam them before proceeding.
