Pepper Baby Corn is a Chinese dish which is simple and easy to prepare.It can be served as a starter or side dish with Chinese fried rice

  1. 15 Baby corn
  2. 2 Teaspoons Corn flour
  3. 2 Teaspoons Maida
  4. 1 Teaspoon Onion (finely chopped)
  5. 1 Tablespoon Pepper Crushed
  6. 1 Teaspoon Garlic
  7. 1 Teaspoon Ginger
  8. 1 Teaspoon Chilly Dry Red (crushed)
  9. 2 Teaspoons Soy sauce
  10. Salt
  11. Oil
  12. Spring Onion (to garnish)

  1. Add Photo

    Make a batter with corn flour,Maida and salt.

  2. Add Photo

    Dip the baby corn in the batter and deep fry in oil till golden brown in color.

    Cut the fried baby corns into medium pieces.

  4. Add Photo

    Heat oil in a pan.Saute chopped onions,ginger and garlic.Once it is done, add crushed pepper, dry red chilly to it and saute.

    Add soy sauce and fried baby corns to it.Mix well.check for salt.As soy sauce and batter contains salt, there is no need to add more salt.

  6. Add Photo

    Garnish with finely chopped spring onions.

    Serve with fried rice
