Handful of everything Dosa (Ada thatti)

For this recipe, I use a handful of all the lentils I have in the house. It makes a tasty and highly nutritious breakfast.

Ingredients

4-serving
  1. handful 1 urad dal
  2. handful 1 green gram
  3. handful 1 black pepper
  4. handful 1 toor dal
  5. handful 1 moong dal
  6. handful 1 rice
  7. 1 Pinch methi seeds
  8. handful 1 channa dal
  9. handful 1 corn dried broken
  10. handful 1 wheat broken
  11. 4 - 6 chillies dried

Method

    Wash and soak all the ingredients in water for 3-4 hours.

    Grind them all together in a mixer and let it stay overnight to turn sour. Add water to the batter as required to make a smooth dosa.

    Heat pan and make dosa with the batter. You can make it roast better with drops of gingelly oil in the dosa. Serve with onion or coconut chutney.
