Indian sweet made from gram flour, that can be pulled together real quick

Ingredients

5-serving
  1. 2 Cups Gram Flour Chickpea flour /
  2. 2 Tablespoons Semolina
  3. 1/2 Cup Sugar Powedered
  4. 1/2 Cup Butter Ghee Clarified /
  5. 1 Teaspoon Cardamom Essence
  6. 15 Cashewnuts Split (optional)

Method

    Add Photo

    Sift the gram flour and dry roast the flour and semolina to until light brown on low flame. Takes about 10-12 minutes.

    Mix in the powdered sugar to the warm mixture. Sprinkle the cardamom essence and mix so that the mixture is evenly sweet and flavoured.

    Add two tablespoons of ghee each and stir the contents above to form a crumbly mixture. Repeat until all the the ghee is added. Do not knead.

    Make lemon sized balls and garnish each ladoo with a cashewnut. You can also garnish with thinly sliced almond or coarsely ground pistachios

    Makes about 15 ladoos.
