Banoffee Pie with a Banana Bread Crust

When you end up with a bad batch of banana bread (dense enough to be a weapon), or banana bread leftovers (like that ever happens), you can turn it into something totally fancay!

Ingredients

  1. 1.5 Cups Banana Bread crumbs
  2. 1.5 Cups Cream Whipped
  3. 1/2 Cup chocolate Melted
  4. 2 Banana

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Chop your banana bread, and whiz it in the processor to get crumbs.

  2. Add Photo

    Toast half of it in the oven. At 200 C for 15 mins. Don't burn them.

    To the remaining, add melted chocolate and bring it together.

  4. Add Photo

    Scrape it to the base of your pie tin and press till it forms a base.

    Add a layer of sliced bananas

    Top it off with whipped cream.

    Sprinkle the toasted crumbs on top, for a crunch. Also, plain whipped cream layer on top makes the pie look naked.
