Whole Wheat Bread

The easiest and healthiest bread you will ever bake.



  1. 1 1/4 Cups Water Luke Warm
  2. 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  3. 1/4 Cup Honey
  4. 31/2 Cups wheat Premium Quality (I used Ashirvad Select)
  5. 2 1/2 Teaspoons Yeast
  6. 1/4 Cup Milk Powder
  7. 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

  1. Add Photo

    Combine all ingredients and stir till the dough starts to leave the sides of the bowl. This dough is unlike the white bread dough.soft, yet still firm enough to knead with out sticking much.

    Transfer the dough to a lightly greased surface, oil your hands, and knead it for 6 to 8 minutes, or until it begins to become smooth and supple.

    Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and allow the dough to rise in double.

    Punch down dough. Turn out onto floured board and knead

    Form dough into loaf and set in buttered bread pan. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour.

    Put in oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes at 180 degree.
