Boil milk and mix it with custard powder and sugar in a wide bowl.
Heat a non stick pan and grease with oil/butter. Dip the bread slice very quickly (both sides) and toast it (both sides) in low flame until it turns golden in colour. Serve with butter or tomato sauce.
You can serve with nutmeg or cinnamon powder sprinkle along with sugar powder. If you don't have or like custard powder, replace with corn starch and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence.
