Baby Corn Rice

Ingredients

  1. 1 Cup Basmati Rice
  2. 12 Baby Corn
  3. 1 Onion (Chopped)
  4. 2 Cups Coconut Milk (thin)
  5. & 1 Clove Bay leaf Cinnamon Cardamom , , (each)
  6. 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  7. To Taste Salt
  8. 4 Tablespoons Ghee Oil /
  9. 1/2 Bunch Coriander Leaves
  10. 4 Cloves Garlic
  11. 1 Ginger Slice
  12. 4 Green Chilli
  13. 1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  14. 2 Tablespoons Coconut Grated (optional)

Method

30 mins
  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Soak rice for 10 minutes. Grind all the ingredients under "grind" to a smooth paste with less water.

    In a pressure cooker,heat ghee/oil in the cooker and add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.Then add the onions and saute for a few minutes.

    Add baby corn,ground masala and saute for 2 minutes. Add the soaked rice and saute for a minute. Then add coconut milk, salt and cook for 2 whistles and 5 minutes in low flame.

    Serve with the Raita of your choice.
