Soft Crunchy crust with soft flavorful filling



  1. 1/2 Egg
  2. 100 Grams All purpose flour
  3. 1 Kilo Salt
  4. 7.5 Grams Gluten
  5. 25 Millilitres Oil
  6. 35 Millilitres Water
  7. 6 Grams Sugar
  8. 200 Grams Sugar
  9. 100 Grams Water
  10. 50 Grams prunes Dried , chopped

  1. Add Photo

    For the Filling: Prepare a sugar syrup by heating the sugar, water and chopped prunes till it thickens. Once done, let it cool.

    For the dough: Sieve the flour, gluten and salt. Add the egg, sugar and water and mix them.

    Next, add the oil and knead until gluten is formed. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

    Sheet the dough into long triangular shapes and put the filling in the centre.

    Fold the triangles and place them on a greased baking tray. Brush them with egg wash and bake at 200 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes
