Omelette with Olives

Just another omelette; or maybe not. Yes, it's the regular recipe plus some olives but it tastes extraordinary. I have never felt like having two omelettes in one meal ever before. So, find out how many you would like.

Ingredients

  1. 2 Eggs
  2. 1/2 Cup onions Chopped
  3. 1/2 Cup tomatoes Chopped
  4. 1 green chilli Small
  5. 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper Cayene
  6. to taste Salt
  7. 1 olive Green (preserved with garlic)
  8. 1 Tablespoon Milk
  9. 1/4 Cup Butter
  10. 1/4 Cup Plain flour
  11. Pinch Baking powder
  12. Cilantro Garnishing

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Beat the eggs with onion and chilli. Alongside, keep the frying pan on the stove at low heat.

  2. Add Photo

    Add melted butter and mix it well.

  3. Add Photo

    Add the flour and baking powder and mix it till everything blends. Add milk and mix again.

  4. Add Photo

    Add the tomatoes, pepper and salt to the mixture.

    Grease the hot pan with margarine or olive oil.

    Pour the mixture on the pan.

  7. Add Photo

    Chop the olive into 4-5 thin slices and place it on top of the cooking omelette.

    Garnish with cilantro and cover the pan for a couple of minutes.

  9. Add Photo

    Turnover the omelette to cook the other side for another couple of minutes.

  10. Add Photo

    Serve hot with tomato ketchup and some bread.
