A super simple chicken starter.
Heat oil, and throw in a fistful of dried red chillies and curry leaves.
Add the washed chicken pieces (I prefer the bony pieces compared to breast pieces for this recipe)
Add salt and turmeric and leave it on low flame till the chicken cooks through.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove the pieces from the pan, and throw in the coconut and saute till it's roasted.
Add the chicken pieces back in and mix well.
Ta-dah! If you like you can add some shallots in the first step.
