Mango Halwa

  1. 4 cups Alphonso mango pulp
  2. 1/4 cup Almond
  3. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  4. 1/2 cup cashewnuts
  5. 1 cup corn starch
  6. 1/2 cup ghee
  7. 4 cups sugar
  8. 1 cup water

  1. Add Photo

    Heat 1/4 cup of ghee to it. Add mango pulp to it. Dilute corn starch with water. Mix well without forming lumps. Once mango mix is hot add corn starch mix to it. Keep stirring until it thickens. Add sugar to it and keep on stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the will take about 45 minutes.

    Add the remaining ghee every 10 minutes while stirring.

    Add almonds, cashew nuts and cardamom powder to it and mix well.

  4. Add Photo

    Transfer the mix into a greased pan. Let it cool for 3 hours.

    Cut into desired shapes.
