Pound Cake

  1. 3 egg
  2. 3 Tablespoons milk
  3. 1 1/2 Teaspoons vanilla Essence
  4. 150 Grams all purpose Flour
  5. 1 Teaspoon baking Powder
  6. 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  7. 150 Grams sugar
  8. 185 Grams butter

  1. Add Photo

    Preheat oven to 180 C. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper and butter or spray the paper. Sift together flour,salt and baking powder, set aside.(ALL THE INGREDIENTS SHOULD BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.)

    Whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

    In the bowl, add the butter and half of the egg mixture to the flour mixture. Mix on low speed with a hand mixer, until the dry ingredients are moistened.

    Add the remaining egg mixture, in 2 additions and mix at high speed. Pour mixture into prepared pan.

    Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand in pans for 10 minutes. Then turn out onto wire cooling racks and cool completely.
