Pepper Chicken Fry

A Spicy & Tasty side dish:)



  1. 250 Grams Chicken (Boneless)
  2. 1 Cup Onion (chopped)
  3. 1/2 Cup Tomato (chopped)
  4. 1 Gingerchopped Slice
  5. 6 Cloves Garlic
  6. 3 Teaspoons Black Pepper
  7. 2 Teaspoons Fennel Seed
  8. 2 Teaspoons Cumin
  9. 1/2 Teaspoon Tumeric Powder
  10. 3/4 Cup Water (1/2 - 3/4 cup)
  11. 2 Sprig Curry Leaves
  12. 2 Teaspoons Salt
  13. 1 Tablespoon Coriander Chopped
  14. 1 Teaspoon Lime Juice
  15. 4 Tablespoons Oil

  1. Add Photo

    Clean the chicken. If chicken pieces are big, cut them into medium size piece.

  2. Add Photo

    Dry roast pepper, fennel seeds and cumin. Allow it to cool and powder it. Grind ginger and garlic without adding water.

    Heat the oil in a wok, add onion and saute for 2 minutes. Add ginger garlic paste and cleaned chicken. Saute until chicken turn pale.

    Now add salt, turmeric and water. Close the wok with a lid and cook for 10 - 12 minutes. When Chicken absorbs water, add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.

    Add lime juice and powdered spices, cook for 5 minutes and add coriander and curry leaves. Now close the lid and cook in low flame until chicken absorbs tomato juice.

  6. Add Photo

    Once Chicken turns dry, serve it with Biryani / Chapati / Rice.
