Ingredients

  1. 1 kilogram Pork
  2. 250 grams yam Elephant
  3. 1 nos Onion sliced
  4. 1 nos Tomato small sliced
  5. 2 inchs Ginger crushed
  6. 6 nos chilies Green slitted
  7. Curry leaves
  8. 2 tsps Chili powder
  9. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  11. 1 tsp Vinegar
  12. to taste Salt
  13. 1/4 cup coconut Grated
  14. 6 nos Shallots
  15. 4 nos Garlic
  16. Curry leaves few
  17. 1 inch Cinnamon
  18. 2 nos Cloves
  19. 1 nos Cardamom
  20. 1 Nutmeg small
  21. 1/4 tsp Peppercorn
  22. 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
  23. 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  24. 2 tbsps Coconut oil
  25. 4 nos Shallots chopped
  26. 1 inch Chopped ginger
  27. 3 nos Green chilli slitted
  28. Curry leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and clean the pork. Dry roast all the spice powders(red chili,coriander, turmeric, pepper) in low medium flame until the raw smell goes. Add this to the pork along with onion, tomato, green chilies, crushed ginger,crushed shallots, curry leaves,vinegar and salt. Mix well and pressure cook till pork is almost done.

    Peel the skin of the yam and cut into cubes (same as the size of pork). Wash thoroughly and add this to the pork and pressure cook for one whistle.

    In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil and roast all the ingredients mentioned in the roast & grind coloum. Roast until golden brown and grind it to a smooth paste. Add this to the curry and let it boil. check the salt. Once everything is mixed well, switch off the flame and do the seasoning.

    Serve hot with rice
