Ingredients

3-serving
  1. 1/2 kg Fish cut into small cubes (any firm fish)- here i used king [
  2. fish Oil for frying
  3. For Batter
  4. 2 tbsps Cornflour -
  5. 2 tbsps All purpose flour -
  6. 2 tsps Soya sauce -
  7. 1 tsp chili powder Red -
  8. 1 - 2 tsps Pepper powder -
  9. Water
  10. to taste Salt
  11. For the gravy
  12. 1/2 tbsp Garlic chopped -
  13. 1/2 tbsp Ginger chopped -
  14. 1 chilies Green chopped -
  15. 3 nos Red chilli (deseeded and crushed)-
  16. 1 no Onion (diced)-
  17. 11/2 tbsps Spring onion chopped -
  18. 1/2 cup Capsicum (diced)-
  19. 1 tsp Kashmiri Chili powder -
  20. 1 tsp Pepper powder - more
  21. 1 tbsp Tomato sauce -
  22. 1 tbsp Soya sauce -
  23. 1 tsp Cornflour -
  24. Water
  25. Salt
  26. Oil

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Mix all the ingredients for the batter with enough water to form a thick batter.

  2. Add Photo

    Add the fish pieces into the batter and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes

  3. Add Photo

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the fish pieces and keep aside.

  4. Add Photo

    Heat oil in another pan and add the chopped ginger, garlic,red chili flakes and green chilies.Saute till done.

  5. Add Photo

    Add onion,bell pepper and spring onion, saute till onion turn translucent.

  6. Add Photo

    Add chili powder and pepper powder.Saute for a minute.

  7. Add Photo

    Add soya sauce and tomato sauce,stir well.Add some water and bring to a boil.Add salt to taste.

  8. Add Photo

    Add 3 tbsp water to cornflour and mix well.Add this to the gravy.Stir well till the gravy thickens.

  9. Add Photo

    Now reduce the flame and add the fried fish pieces,cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

  10. Add Photo

    Sprinkle chopped spring onion on top and serve
