Crumb Fried Fish/Prawns

An easy to make dish that can be served as an entree or main course

  1. 500 Grams Fish Prawns Fillets /
  2. 1 Tablespoon Lime juice
  3. 1 Teaspoon Pepper Powder
  4. Salt
  5. 1 Cup Bread Crumbs
  6. 1 Egg
  7. 2 Tablespoons All Purpose flour
  8. Oil

  1. Add Photo

    Marinate the fillet or prawns in a lime juice, pepper & salt and set aside for 15 mins

    Pat dry any excess moisture with a paper napkin before crumbing.

  3. Add Photo

    The 3 step Crumbing process: 1- Coat the fillets or prawns in the flour till fully coated. 2- Dip this in the beaten egg mixture 3- Then coat this in the bread crumbs

  4. Add Photo

    Shallow or deep fry the fillets/prawns till golden brown. Place the fried fillets on a paper napkin to remove any excess oil before serving.

    Serve with rice, bread & salad
