Prawn from a Chatti!!

Prawn curry prepared in a traditional Kerala earthen vessel " Chatti". b

  1. 500 Grams Prawn
  2. 1 Red onion Large
  3. 4 Green Chilli
  4. 1 Teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 Tomato
  6. 2 Teaspoons Red Chilli powder
  7. Curry leaves
  8. Salt
  9. 1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil

    Add Photo

    Make a thick marinate of chili powder, ginger garlic paste and salt and marinate the prawns & keep aside.

    In a chatti fry the prawns till half done & add the onions & green chilis

    Once the onions change color add the tomato and cook till prawn are done

    Garish with curry leaves & coconut oil

    Tip : You can add water accordingly as per your gravy preference. I add tomato puree to make a thick gravy
