Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Besan gram flour /
  2. 1 cup ghee
  3. 1 cup Coconut , grated
  4. 1 cup Milk
  5. 2.5 - 3 cups Sugar

Cooking Instructions

    You can use any size cup of your choice, but measure all ingredients with the same cup.Keep all ingredients ready.

    Grease a tray/plate with ghee and keep it ready.

    Dry roast the besan...just so that the raw smell goes off.do not roast for long.

    Switch of the gas.

    Add sugar, milk and mix well so that there are no lump. then add the grated coconut and mix.

    Then add ghee and keep stirring continuously.scrap the sides of the pan as u stir.

    Once it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan...starts coming out as a lump sort of....then stop.

    Move the mix to the greased plate.when warm, just mark the pattern(square/diamond) to be cut.

    Keep for 15-20 minutes to cool, after which you can cut into pieces.

    In case the mix has not solidified, don't wry. cover the tray and keep it in fridge for sometime till it solidifies.
