Beef wrap

A quick and simple recipe, beef wrapped in Indian or Arabic bread. You can substitute beef with other meat too.

  1. 250 gms Beef / meat
  2. 1/4 teasespoon Turmeric
  3. to taste Salt
  4. 1 teaspoon pepper Ground
  5. 3 cloves garlic Crushed
  6. 1 inch ginger Crushed
  7. 1 tablespoon Oil
  8. 1 onion Chopped small
  9. 3 tablespoons bell pepper Green / red / yellow
  10. 4 tablespoons cucumber Chopped
  11. 4 tablespoons Chopped tomatoe
  12. a few Lettuce leaves

Method

    Add Photo

    In a pressure cooker, cook the beef, turmeric, ginger, garlic, pepper and salt. Do not add water. Let it cook for at least 7-9  whistles.

    While that is cooking, pour oil in a pan, saute the chopped onion and chopped bell pepper together.

    Add the cooked beef into the pan along with onion and bell pepper. pour any gravy too into the pan. Saute till dry. Check for salt.

    Spread the bread, put a layer of lettuce, chopped cucumber, chopped tomato and a mix of the beef on to the bread.

    Roll it up and have it as a snack or lunch. You can adjust the ingredients according to your liking and requirements.
