In a vessel, saute chopped onion, ginger and garlic in ghee till transparent.
Add the powders turmeric, chilly and garam masala and mix well.
Once you get the aroma, add the chopped tomatoe. Let it cook till the tomatoe blends in.
In the meanwhile boil milk in another vessel.
While that happens, add 1/4 cup water to the tomato blend and let it come to a boil.
Add the paneer pieces and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
Switch the stove off and add the boiled milk. Stir a few times so that the milk does not curdle.
Check for salt. And adjust the spices according to your preference.
Garnish with chopped cilantro.
