Pumpkin Dal curry

  1. 2 cups pumpkin Cubed
  2. 1/4 cup Tur dal
  3. 2 chilly Green
  4. 1/2 cup coconut Grated
  5. 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  6. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  7. to taste Salt
  8. For Seasoning
  9. 1 - 2 tablespoons Oil
  10. 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  11. 1 sprig Curry leaves
  12. 2 chillies Dry red -

    Pressure cook the pumpkin, dal, green chillies, turmeric and salt. 1-2 whistles are enough.

    Meanwhile grind the grated coconut and cumin seeds to a coarse paste.

    Once pumpkin is cooked, add the coconut paste, stir and warm the curry. Do not boil.

    Do the seasoning - heat oil in another pan, splutter mustard seeds, then add curry leaves and dry red chillies. Pour it over the curry.
