Cottage cheese scrambled (Paneer Burji)

A quick recipe, nutritious, can be had with any breads...



  1. 200 gms Paneer shredded (cottage cheese)
  2. 2 tablespoons Ghee (clarified butter) or oil
  3. 1 cup Onion chopped fine
  4. 1/2 cup Tomatoe chopped fine
  5. 2 Green chillies chopped
  6. 1 teaspoon Garam masala (optional)
  7. to taste Pepper powdered
  8. to taste Salt
  9. bunch Coriander leaves a small

    Heat ghee/oil in a pan.

    Add chopped onion, saute. After 30 seconds add the chopped green chillies.

    Add the garam masala and powdered pepper once the onion gets transparent.

    Add tomatoes, close the pan with a lid, for it to cook and  merge with the onion.

    Add the Paneer, cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes with the lid closed.

    Check for salt. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, serve hot.
