Roasted Mustard PRAWN (tawa grilled or oven roasted)

Mustard Prawn is a famous North Indian Tandoori appetizer,Calling "Kasoondi Jinga" or "Sarson wali Jhinga".now i am introducing a version of the same dish,which we make easily in our home kitchen for tawa grilled method.

  1. 6 nos Prawn - Medium size - (Cleaned with tail)
  2. Ginger Garlic salt Lime Juice Paste , and for first marination
  3. 2 tsps Mustard paste -
  4. 2 pinchs Turmeric powder -
  5. 2 Pinchs Chilly Powder -
  6. 60 ml Curd Hang (thick )-
  7. 1 tsp Mustard Oil -
  8. 2 Pinchs Garam Masala -
  9. to taste Salt

  1. Add Photo

    Put cleaned prawn in a mixing bowl and mix with first marination and keep 15 min.

  2. Add Photo

    Make the  second marination adding curd,ginger garlic paste,salt,lemon juice,chilli powder,turmeric powder,mustard paste,mustard oil,garam masala and salt.

  3. Add Photo

    Add the prawn in the marination and keep for another 15 min.

  4. Add Photo

    With the help of skewer cook the marinated prawn in a griller or hot tawa,

  5. Add Photo

    When become full done,remove from the tawa.

  6. Add Photo

    Serve hot with Tangy Mint chutney
