A traditional sweet dish prepared in South India. Very popular in Engagements.
Start boiling the water.
Simultaneously, start heating the Ghee on a medium flame. As it starts melting, start mixing the Rava in it. Fry the Rava for 5 to 7 minutes.
Now add the boiling water to the above mixture, and cook the Rava well.
Add the Kesar Powder. Then add Sugar and Stir well. Now cook for 5 to 7 minutes till it becomes a semi-paste.
Now lower the mixture. When it cools, peel the cardamom, grind and add it to the mixture.
Fry the raisins and cashew with ghee on a low flame, until the cashew is golden brown. Add to the above mixture.
