Ingredients

  1. 1 Cup Shallots
  2. 1.5 Tablespoons Ginger Garlic Paste
  3. ¼ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  4. 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  5. ½ Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  6. ½ Teaspoon Pepper
  7. 5 Chillies Red
  8. ½ Kilogram Beef
  9. 1 Teaspoon Salt
  10. 20 Curry Leaves
  11. 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  12. 3 - 4 Tablespoons coconut Grated

    Wash beef thoroughly and dice it into medium/small sized pieces.

    Marinate with salt and keep aside.

    Put all the above ingredients except beef and salt in a small mixie jar and whip it. Make sure not to grind it too much. 10 second grinding should be enough

    Marinate beef with the mixture and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

    Put the marinated beef in a pressure cooker, add 1 tablespoon water, cover the lid and let it cook for 2 whistles on high flame and 3 whistles on low flame. No need to add more water than specified as beef itself contains a lot of water which will help it cook.

    In a thick bottom pan put a generous dose of coconut oil, keep it for a minute on low flame and add lots of curry leaves. After 30 seconds add the cooked beef and keep frying the mixture on low flame till the color turns to black/dark brown depending on your taste. If beef becomes dry add more oil and keep frying on low flame.

    Take it out, garnish with raw onion rings, grab a glass of red wine/toddy and enjoy
