Potato Bread Fritters- Paki style

Long long time ago when i ws a kid,this was a dish my Pakistani neighbour used to give us during ramadan! This is my version of  her yummy dish 👍

Ingredients

  1. 5 - 7 Bread slices
  2. 3 nos Potatoes -   medium size
  3. 3 - 4 tbsps Butter -
  4. 6 - 7 pods Garlic - finely chopped
  5. 2 nos Green chilli - finely chopped
  6. coriander leaves Fresh
  7. 2 tbsps Chaat masala powder -
  8. 1/2 tsp Jeera cumin / powder -
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 2 nos Egg -
  11. Oil for frying

Method

  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Boil potatoes and mash them. While still hot add the butter and mix well till fully incorporated.

    Add chopped garlic, green chilly, salt, chaat masala, jeera powder, coriander leaves and mix thourougly (preferably wth ur hand)

    Cut bread slices into 4 triangles. On each triangle spread the potato mixture generously.

    Dip both sides of the bread nicely in beaten egg and fry them in oil. You may either deep fry or shallow fry it. (Prefer shallow fried). Serve hot..enjoy!!👍
