#perfect combo: Jaggery-Dry Red Chilli-Tamarind Chutney

A simple yet delicious condiment, is a must have dip for almost all Indian snacks

  1. 10 Shallots
  2. 10 chillies Dry kashmiri red
  3. Jaggery crushed   medium piece
  4. 1/4 cup Tamarind pulp
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. Sugar (optional)
  7. Curry leaves
  8. Water

  1. Add Photo

    Heat oil in a pan, add the shallots and dry red chillies and saute them very well.

  2. Add Photo

    Add some jaggery, tamarind pulp, curry leaves and adjust the salt.

  3. Add Photo

    Blend it well by adding some water and serve it with snacks.

    I always prefer having it with hot boiled tapioca (kappa puzhungiyathu)..do try!
