Ingredients

6-serving
  1. 2 Cups Rice flour
  2. 1 Cup Besan
  3. 1 Tbsp Urad dal powdered
  4. 1 Tbsp Butter
  5. 1/2 Tsp Hing
  6. 1 Tbsp Chilli powder
  7. to taste Salt
  8. Oil for frying
  9. Press and mould

Method

30 mins
  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    1.mix all the above ingredients with water to a dough consistency.  After kneading, add 1 tsp of gingelly oil to bring about the softness.

    2\. Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan.

    3\. Take little dough and put it inside the press and close the press with ribbon pakoda mould.

    4\. Squeeze the dough to a big circle.

    5\. Deep fry the ribbon pakoda in low flame till it is crisp and turns light golden brown color and the bubbles start to suppress and also the sizzling sound will come down. This is the right stage.

    6\. Take it out and place it in oil strainer with a paper towel to remove excess oil and allow it to cool.

    7\. Repeat the above steps for the rest of the dough.
