Mix Lentils

This is quite simple, yet delicious, light and healthy meal. Quite easy to prepare.

Habadhaba Baba


  1. 4 oz Urad dal Moong dal Toor dal , , . Mix and soak in a bowl for minutes . 4 ozs 8ozs
  2. 2 Tablespoons Veg oil
  3. 1 Teaspoon Cumin seed
  4. 1 Onion chopped medium size
  5. 1 Zucchini chopped
  6. 1 Tomato chopped
  7. 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic turmeric and paste
  8. 1 tablespoon masala Vegetable mix
  9. 1 Teaspoon Garam masala
  10. 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
  11. 2 green chillies (add more to taste) Chopped
  12. 4 cups Water

  1. Add Photo

    Heat large enough pot on medium high, add oil and cumin seeds. Cook 1 minute.  Add onion, tomato and zucchini, ginger garlic and masala. Cook 3 mts.

    Wash lentils once and discard water. Add lentils, add water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add salt. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 20 mts. covered. Add Garam Masala and chopped green chillies.
