Drinking Coffee and having cake in the evenings is pas·sé! Have this Coffee cake with almonds instead, light and airy as a cloud with a caffeine kick.

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cup All purpose flour
  2. 2 Numbers Egg
  3. 1 tablespoon Vanilla essence
  4. 1 tablespoon Coffee Instant powder
  5. 1/4 cup Milk
  6. 2/3 cup sugar Granulated
  7. 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  8. 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  9. 1/4 cup Almonds Sliced

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Separate the egg white from the yolk

  2. Add Photo

    Beat the egg whites till stiff peaks form and set aside

  3. Add Photo

    Combine all the dry ingredients together well

  4. Add Photo

    Now combine all the wet ingredients thoroughly with the dry ingredients, except for the egg whites

  5. Add Photo

    Fold in the egg whites gently

  6. Add Photo

    Prepare the cake tin by greasing and dusting or by spraying non stick cooking spray

  7. Add Photo

    Pour in the batter in the cake tin.

  8. Add Photo

    Now arrange the almond slices on top of the batter

  9. Add Photo

    Bake in oven for 50 minutes at 360 degree Fahrenheit
