Squid Roast

A semi gravy dish prepared with fresh squid

  1. 1/2 kg Squid
  2. 2 numbers Onions
  3. 3 numbers Tomato
  4. 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  5. 2 tablespoons chillipowder
  6. 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  7. 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  8. to taste Mustard seed
  9. to taste Curry leaves
  10. to taste Salt

  1. Add Photo

    Heat 2 tbsp oil and add the mustard and curry leaves to crackle

  2. Add Photo

    Add the Chilli powder and turmeric powder

  3. Add Photo

    Now add the tomatoes (chopped long thin) and fry till they are slightly browned and becomes the consistency of a paste

  4. Add Photo

    Add the ginger and garlic paste and let them blend in.

  5. Add Photo

    Now add salt and the onions (sliced long thin). Sautee till the onions are soft and the color changes.

  6. Add Photo

    Cook this for 10 minutes by continuously stirring

  7. Add Photo

    Now add the cleaned chopped squid and cook for 7 minutes.
