Prawns Citrus -Party on a plate

This is a perfect party recipe - it is super easy and tasty . Try this out next time you have guests , and do not share the recipe. They would ask 'that's it'? Why hear that -right ? I've done this with oranges, but yeah pineapple or musambi -anything citrus would still be party on a plate. Enjoy !

  1. 500 grams prawns , cleaned well
  2. 1 number onion medium sized , chopped finely into cubes
  3. 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 - 1 number lime , juiced
  5. 1/2 number orange , juiced
  6. handful coriander leaves
  7. 1/2 teaspoon soya sauce
  8. 1 teaspoon wine (I'd prefer something that's not too bitter)
  9. 1/2 - 1 teaspoon pepper
  10. dash butter (optional)
  11. to taste salt
  12. pinch sugar

  1. Change

    Get all the ingredients ready and marinate the prawns with salt and pepper, ginger garlic paste,lime juice and half of the orange juice.

  2. Change

    Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and saute the chopped onions until golden brown with a pinch of salt and add in half of the coriander leaves.

    Now, add in a dollop of butter (if you don't mind) and mix well.

    Then to give it the attitude, add the black beauty soya sauce and the wicked wine in and give it a good mix. Add no water!

  5. Change

    Now, add the remaining orange juice, coriander leaves, sprinkle in a dash of sugar and bring it all together. Now tis time to taste.Add in any additional salt,pepper or lime juice if required-your palate will help you balance out the flavors perfectly. Let the juices dry up and the prawns would absorb it all in.And yeah, you are ready to party !
