STIR  FRIED  CAPSICUM  AND  PANEER (INDIAN STYLE)
Stir friedmeans ‘bhuna’or to cook on high heat.
This is a very easy, yummy, has very lovely aroma of roasted spices and very less time consuming dish which can be prepared at sudden visit of guests
This is from one of my own recipes I want to share with you

Ingredients

  1. 200 gms Paneer cubed
  2. 1 cup Capsicum cubed
  3. 1 Onion (medium) finely chopped
  4. 2 Tomatoes medium finely chopped
  5. 3 - 4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  6. ½ tsp Kasuri methi
  7. 2 tbsps Oil
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. DRY SPICES:
  10. 2 tsps Coriander seeds
  11. ½ tsp Cumin seeds
  12. 4 - 5 Black peppercorns
  13. 3 chilies Kashmiri red

Method

  1. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Dry roast all the spices and grind it coarsely

    Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, add chopped garlic and fry till golden

    Add onion, fry till translucent, add chopped tomato and cook till soft

    Add capsicum, fry for 2 minutes on high heat stirring well

    Then add the ground dry spices and salt, cook for 2 minutes

    Add paneer,  kasuri methi, toss well on high heat for a minute

    Garnish with coriander

    Bhuna capsicum paneer is ready to serve with roti or nan
