Kacchey aam ki khatti meethi chutney

Mango is a fruit which brings  joy and happiness whether its unriped or riped. The mango is versatile fruit as we can make  ice-cream, juices, shakes, lassi, cakes, desserts and so on
The raw mango is equally versatile as we can make a number of things out of it like panna, chutneys, pickles,murabbas.
It is also used in making of curries, dals, salads etc
One of its form  I want to share is below

  1. 4 mangoes (grated) Raw
  2. 1 inch Ginger piece grated
  3. ¼ tsp Turmeric
  4. ½ tsp Red chili flakes
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. Jaggery as per the sweetness required
  7. 1½ tsps Panch phoran (cumin, methi seeds, saunf, nigella seeds, mustard )
  8. Curry leaves few
  9. 2 tbsps Vinegar
  10. 2 tbsps Oil
  11. Water as needed

    Add Photo

    Heat the oil in pan, add panch phoran

    Add grated ginger and curry leaves,fry for a minute

    Add grated mangoes,salt and turmeric

    Add water in a pan (keeping in mind the thickness of the chutney), let it cook for a while

    Add jaggery, chili flakes let it simmer for few minutes

    Lastly add vinegar, allow it to cook till thick
