Peach chutney

Chutney is an Indian version of mixture spices and any fruit or vegetable
Traditionally chutney is grounded in mortar and pestle, but nowadays due to busy lifestyles it is just grinded in mixer grinder and ready to use.
Many different variety of chutneys are prepared, like mint chutney or garlic, mango, tomato..etc
I am sharing with u my version of peach chutney which has a sweet, spicy and tangy  taste and  can be enjoyed with any of the grilled chicken, fish or vegetables.  I have used good amount of ginger in this, coz I love the aroma and flavor of it
You  can use ginger according to your taste

  1. 1 cup Peaches (under riped) (peeled and finely chopped)
  2. 5 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  3. 1 and ½ inchs Ginger piece grated
  4. ¾ tsp Chili flakes
  5. 1 tbsp Sugar
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1 tbsp Vinegar
  8. 4 tsps Oil
  9. Water as needed

    Heat the oil in pan and season it with garlic and ginger, sautey for a minute

    Add peaches and water in it, cover and let it simmer until peaches are very soft

    Do not add too much water at time, add  according to the consistency u require

    Add sugar, salt and chili flakes in it

    Add vinegar and simmer it for another 3-4 minutes or till it becomes thick

    Peach chutney is ready to use
