Fresh Turmeric, Green Chilies & Ginger Instant Pickle

Ingredients

  1. 200 grams turmeric Fresh peeled and sliced or chopped
  2. 100 grams chopped ginger Finely
  3. 8 - 10 limes Juice of
  4. 2 chilies Green finely chopped
  5. salt as per taste

Method

    Add Photo

    First, wash the raw turmeric under running water. Peel the skin, wipe the excess water on a kitchen towel. Once dry finely slice or chop the turmeric.

    Then, wash the ginger under running water, dry the ginger pieces and chop them finely.

    Similarly, wash and chop the green chilies.

    Juice all the lemons, remove the seeds from the juice.

    Now take a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together with hand or a dry spoon.

    Add salt as per taste {I added 1 heaped tablespoon rock salt}

    Transfer this to a clean glass jar or clay containers and store in the fridge.
