Ingredients

  1. 40 g Lace Works Flexi-Icing Powder
  2. 70 ml Water Boiling hot

Method

    Add Photo

    Take a clean bowl and add the powder and hot water to it and blend this with an electric hand mixer or table top mixer (commercial). Whip the mix for 4-5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Scrape and remove the mixture and keep in an airtight container.

    Using Flexi-Icing: Take a Silicon Lace mold and with the help of a scraper or palette knife fill the icing into the groves on the silicon mold, fill this twice with a gap of 30 minutes for better strength of finished lace. Peel from the mold and dry for another 10 minutes. Use immediately or store in an air-tight box for later use.

  3. Change

    Storing: The powder can be stored for 12 months; the whipped icing batter can be kept in refrigeration (15oC) for upto a week, but thaw the icing before usage.
