SHISH TOUK (skewered chicken)

  1. 750 gms Chicken (boneless breast cut in 2” cubes)
  2. 1/3 cup Olive oil
  3. 2 tsps Garlic paste
  4. 1 tsp White pepper powder
  5. 1 tsp paprika Red
  6. 4 tbsps Curd
  7. 1 tsp Oregano
  8. 5 tbsps Lemon juice
  9. 1 Lemon zest
  10. ½ tsp Nutmeg
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds cinnamon fenugreek seeds Dry roast and grind together , 1 stick , 1 tsp

    Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl

    Rub well the chicken pieces in the prepared marinade

    Refrigerate it for 4-5 hours

    Take it out of the refrigerator 30 minutes prior of grilling

    You can either use charcoal grill or oven

    Pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees

    Skewer  the chicken and grill it for20-25 minutes or till done

    Serve hot with some salad, hummus and pita bread
