  1. 1/2 lt cow milk
  2. 2 tsp white vinegar/ 2-3 tsp juice of a lemon mix in little water
  3. 1/2 Cup sugar
  4. 2 cups water
  5. Few drops rose essence or rose water

    Boil milk, add vinegar/lemon juice, stir continuously

    When milk curdles strain the water in a muslin cloth kept on a seive wash it with fresh water

    Tie the cloth and hang for 15-20 minutes

    Churn the chhena in a mixi then make it smooth with help of the palm, make small balls

  5. Add Photo

    Boil sugar and water to make chashni

  6. Add Photo

    When boiling starts add the chhena balls in it, cover and cook on a low medium flame for 20 minutes,it will swell up

  7. Add Photo

    Let it cool sprinkle rose essence/ rose water, Ready to eat
